Have two sizes of dolls and props for both.
Ask the child, “Do you want the big doll or the little doll?” Let the child take the desired doll. Then find the big and little hats, pants, shoes, etc. for each.
The child identifies big and little objects.
Encourage parents to use descriptive words with their child, including size and color words (though the concept of color as a characteristic is just emerging).
