Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Help early childhood educators and parents understand the importance of sequencing ideas into actions. When children put their thoughts into an action sequence, they have a reason to talk about a series of things. This is the basis of a conversation. Encourage adults to support multi-sequence play by asking about what will happen next. After play talk about what the children did and the sequence of actions and dialogue.
