Elicitation Strategy

Use the chalk to mark off distances for throwing and catching balls (about 4 - 6 feet).

Behavior Observed

The child watches the ball and adjusts hand position for a medium-sized ball thrown from 4-6 feet away.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Don’t forget ball play is for girls too! Encourage parents to take balls with them to the park.
