Observe the child during bath time or interview the adult.
Ask the adult what the child is able to do independently for blowing and wiping the nose and washing the body.
In the bath, the child washes all of the front body parts independently.
Children can now do self-care tasks, but remind early childhood educators and parents that children still need supervision and occasional assistance.
