Interview the adult.

Elicitation Strategy

Ask about the child’s bathroom independence and the boy’s ability to use a urinal or toilet in standing.

Behavior Observed

Boys have achieved independence and the ability to use the traditional male approach to urination.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Encourage fathers to model for sons how to use a urinal.
