The infant looks toward the sound of the adult’s voice.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Explain to early childhood educators and parents the importance of the infant’s looking for voices. This is the foundation for communication. We find the speaker and attend to their voice. Later we attend to the content of their message.
