No elicitation is needed.

Behavior Observed

The child seeks out people and things that make him feel good. Watch the toys, objects, and actions the child chooses.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Encourage early childhood educators and parents to spend time just watching the infants as he plays independently. They can learn much about the baby’s preferences and emerging skills.
