Uses stamps to make a picture

Situations for Observation of Skill

If available, provide a magic drawing board with stamps the children can press and erase.

Elicitation Strategy

Let the child experiment with the magic drawing board. Demonstrate how to make a print and erase it.

Behavior Observed

The child will enjoy making marks and erasing them.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Encourage parents to provide a magic erase board or other marking tools for the child to practice her fine motor skills. The magic erase boards are good because they can be used over and over. The stamps add another element, so the child can feel successful immediately.
