Situations for Observation of Skill

Observe the child during daily routines. Ask adults what rules have been set for the home or classroom.

Elicitation Strategy

No elicitation is needed.

Behavior Observed

The child follows the routines of the day and shows adherence to the rules of the classroom or family.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Children at this level should not need much encouragement to follow the routines of the day and be compliant with daily rules. If more support is needed, families can post the schedule and rules so that they can be referred to.
