Observe the child during daily routines and play activities.
No elicitation needed.
The child knows what she is expected to do during different routines (toileting, eating, napping, etc.) The child anticipates and complies with the expectations of her individual family.
Encourage parents to have simple family rules, daily routines, and expectations for the child to contribute to the family chores.
