The child puts one sleeve in a coat and reaches back for the second sleeve and pulls it on.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Early childhood educators and parents can give children practice with different types of fasteners during everyday activities. For example, children can help with zip-lock plastic bags, potato chip bag clips, foil and plastic wrap, twist ties on wrappers, etc. All use different movements helpful for dressing.
