Elicitation Strategy

No elicitation needed.

Behavior Observed

The child demonstrates mastery of most individual sounds and blends.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Observe whether difficult sounds can be stimulated. For example, can the child imitate a sound if the adult models it? Some children cannot say the sound in connected speech, but can imitate the sound when it is modeled. Stimulability indicates the ability to make the sound.
