Place the babies within touching distance of each other.

The infants look at each other and move their hands toward the other.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Face-to-face interaction is important for building social relationships. Parents should be encouraged to spend time with their baby looking at, talking to, and engaging their infant in interaction.
