Elicitation Strategy

The adults can demonstrate different turns and moves for the child to imitate.

Behavior Observed

The child’s increasing motor skills enable the child to try more movements. They will look awkward, but they will try many moves.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Practice is important for developing ease of movement. Dancing challenges the motor skills and provides practice with movements which are different from walking.
