Situations for Observation of Skill

Observe the child with the parent and peers.

Elicitation Strategy

No elicitation needed for the play. When play is over have the parent tell the children it is time to clean up.

Behavior Observed

During clean up the child will put several toys where they belong.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

The child still needs the adult’s attention, but is able to go back-and-forth between toys and different people. The child is also expanding his understanding of roles. He is participating in chores and daily routines.
