Behavior Observed

The child will move from one foot to another from side-to-side, keeping with the music.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

This is the age of learning to walk. Music and movement to music encourages the child to practice needed skills such as balance, body rotation, and weight shifting. Encourage early childhood educators and parents to dance and sing with the child frequently.
