Observe children in group activities in the classroom.
No elicitation needed.
The child is able to participate in groups for 30 minutes or more when interested in the activity (music, recess, dramatic play, etc.)
Children attend longer to activities allowing movement and talking or singing. Intersperse such activities between academic “work” or endeavors requiring sitting and focusing.
