Behavior Observed

The infant will show increased physical movements and facial expression (smiling) for the parents and siblings. The infant will stare at and may smile at others.

Routines-based Intervention (Embedded Instruction)

Seeing other people besides family expands the infant’s world and introduces the idea of familiar and unfamiliar.
